This song is not in a battle

On the ALbum "Laughing At Graves", tell me what you think!

oh your face its like a sunday afternoon
oooh theres a place well be home soon
i was wondering if we could trade our souls
come back as different ghosts
you could haunt my past while i relive your days
knowing the sunlight while sitting in the shade

the rest you're just gonna have to hear too lazy

I'm not a big fan of post rock but the atmosphere this creates is pretty nice. It reminds me of a band... I think it was Goodspeed You Black Emperor or something like that.
The recording is a bit raw but I think that adds more feeling to the song so it's probably better like this.

sure its a nice song ..........but the mix is very suspect and as you say lazy........ im not hearing the vocs as they drowned by a very happy drum.........and more......have a go at pushing the vocs to the front...

mix?
Im confused by the suspicion of the mix.  Theres no mixing just layering from all isntruments from myself; the lyrics are all done from myself as well. Maybe im confused.

I think chaps are refering to the volume levels.
The acoustic sounds a bit muffled against a bright drum sound( the rhythm need a bit of work), try and blend them.
How are you recording the acoustic guitar, what are you puting it through
Also the vox sound a bit thin.
If you learn how to control the sound of each instrument/vocals you will get a much bigger sound.

Sorry if it sound negative, just recording issues and how I hear it.

The composition however is interesting - it's a little different
