Here's the last track we recorded at the Alchemae studio but I'm not very happy with the mix so far and will ask to remix it
If you tell me your views on the subject it would help me greatly

The mix and the production sound great. Bright and tight.
I really liked the song. The lead guitar arrangements fit perfectly with the mood of the tune.
Great work.

Everything sounds well recorded/mixed/mastered except the Bass, not much they can do now as altering Eq's and such like too much will make it sound matalic -
Out of interest how did they record the Bass?
What don't you like about the mix?

In case of the bass I´m with denis . I´ve heard ya recent tracks and found the bass was sounding great , full , fat
as a solid fundament . This effect I´m missing here .
Oh , at the end , when vox & instruments are ´dying away ` I can hear some noise in one track . Needs to be reduced .
All together a nice and  "feelgood" - waltz.    The rest of the mix seems to be fine in my ears .

Thanks guys

what I don't like about the mix
I think the drum is too loud in the mix
I agree with you with the bass being too much in the background
I think my guitar (acoustic rythm) sound a bit boxy
to finish I think my vocals sound too dull and need a tad more reverb and work on the EQ

When we listen to the track in the control room after recording it we heard non of this issues so I know that the takes track by traks are good but the final mix was done on a different console that the one we recorded it on
Hopefully Tom (the sound engineer) offered to rework the mix if we weren't happy with it I will ask him to use the first mixing desk he used (SSL oxford) and fingers crossed we'll hear some improvement

Awesome recording
The vocals could have been turned down a little bit in my honest opinion, but hte recording otherwise was spectacular.  Just some of the mixing could have used some work.  The melodies and style sound professional.

Hope the remix worked out ok but listening to the spirit of the song love the feel and the vocal bvs nicely placed always a sucker for 3/4 . Guitars are good too the electric well placed in with the acoustic .
