Here is a short little lick/riff thing I came up with in 2006, and I just recorded this on my old acoustic (a kid-sized one) 5 minutes ago and played drums along with it.

Keep working on it, drums sound nice, just need to beef up the Bass drum, did you mic it up, sounds like you recorded with one mic ??

I am using a vocal/instrument mic on the bass drum why it isn't as beefy as it should be (I don't have any kick mic).  This is a three-mic drum mix.

Drums are tricky, you have to experiment with mic placement, maybe record it with some compression too
I assume you are puting it through a mixer, so you could eperiment with the EQ, but more so on mic placement.
Put some heaphones on and try it out. A mic with good bass dynamics would help, but you should be able to get a decent sound drom what you have.

I'll also assume you have two overhead mics and one for the kick?
