Black keys
*

This song is not in a battle

I´m a self-taught keyboarder.Never got only 1 lesson.
When I began playing keyboard I had a repeating problem:
I always slipped off the black keys , so I started to practice scales  only on those keys .Day by day . Up & down Up & down. After a while I developed this piece with different scales / arpeggios and sounds played only on black keys. So it became a fat , chilly, loungy piece .
Relax and enjoy
Would be glad about your oppinios

What synth did you use here?  Sound great, I love the guitar that comes in around 1:45, chill for sure.

Bass around 2:07 has a great funky Wal sound
great percussion, and the guitar is just in the right spots

it's awesome, and then a synth sweep.  just perfect

Seems a bit one-dimensional, and formless, is all I'd say for criticism, but very chill for an awesome instrumental!

Nice how you came to create this, yeah arpeggios bring out a big sound don't they.
Perhaps create some other parts that are not arpeggios, would make it more varied.

Hey, ULI...Very nice recording..top notch...This reminds me of Emerson, Lake & Palmer...I'm pretty sure that is the right band that I'm thinking of.. Nice use and very good mixing of all the instruments...Good job, ULI..

Sounds like an amazing jam, one that's taken hours to do, the keys come and go with a lot of different sounds though it all does flow together.
This has cheesy bits and excellent bits but I will agree that it has no song forum but it's an excellent space jam.

Mmmmh, different opinions about adding vox. Ya´ll know my ( not existing) talent as a singer, hence I´m with
Mikey Divene. It would destroy the piece.
Maybe a really, really good singer could convince me otherwise.

Tnx a lot for this suggestion and ya interest.

Nice and chilled I notice from reviews that some luminaries are favourably compared e.g ELP and Jan Hammer & I would be in agreement there.
Exotic textures ya ya ya.

Love those black keys -- wish the drums weren't so, I don't know, perfect?  Course you've already got this on an album right, so that's kinda like someone writing a novel and getting a suggestion to change a chapter after it's already been published!  So -- great!  Love all the different textures you layer into your music -- so many things to listen to, which I really, really like!
