This song is not in a battle

That´s a collab with an ol´friend of mine.
He´s a classic acoustic guitar player. On the one hand he and another friend
of him did transcribe f.e. J.S.Bach´s "Goldberg Variationen" from Cembalo / Piano to guitar  and recorded it.
On the other side he composed his own stuff.
This was composed in 1985 on a holiday at the french atlantic coast.
One day he gave me a CD with own tracks . I listened to his epics , digged one to transmit onto my copystation and played around a bit. Was the first time I worked with a foreign composition. Had some fun messin´around with some strings, french horns, a funny piano- & guitar solo .
I asked him to publish it in the  ´Amp ` and he agreed to.
His name is HELGE LORENZ , audible on the left channel.
Enjoy some `freaky`impressions
                                                 Some feedback , please!?!?!?

Music to my ears

This is quality, great collab

Could be a bit tighter, but I like what you have added, nice touch

Looks like the French Atlantic Coast is the place to be..

It breathes: the tempo varies, but I don't know if that's a bad thing.  The tempo actually reminds me of some Hungarian traditional music I've heard, where you can't really pin down a steady tempo, but that's not the point of the music.  I think it evokes waves nicely this way.

Waves, clouds, golden light - I really like the electric guitar sound.

My friend has recorded it thiswise and varied the tempo consiously as part of expression like many classical guitarist do. So it was an additional challenge for me to feel into HIS feel. But very soon it worked better and better. (good education / practice ).
Electric git doesn´t only sound fine , she´s a beauty. If ya like, view on my Álbum`.
TNX GUYS FOR YOUR KIND & HELPFUL REFLECTIONS: I´m highly pleased. And HELGE also.

It starts off really nice, you seem to follow really well and take it to wide open golden beaches, sun and sea, but then you kind of go off on your own little holiday along the way

Up to 1:29 you keep it together, something goes klong and you go wandering off ..... yet 1:40 to 2:20ish, the q and a guitar is beautiful.
I dont think the jazz piano works but the build down at the end is lovely.

The original (left channel) does sound a little long and repetitive.

I can hear potential for this to be better (for my ears) but I didn't like the droning organ which overpowers everything else, making it kinda .. flat.

I suggest taking out the organ or at least toning it down and bring in more guitar or anything else you want to add.

I don't mean to be cocky or anything but just trying to be honest instead of prasing blindly.

And I have to add that I usually listen to music that's being played by people and I hate droning violins in the background in general in lieu of rawer music, like
