Yo!
The song shows good basic approaches. A nice piano playin´around, a nice ,simply melody in the refrain
with a convenient synth.
But:
1: The vox are clipping in my speakers.(overleveled).When you´re recording voices (instruments),
pay attantion on the input-level. To avoid clipping ,use a limiter or a compressor. It´s important to understand
how dynamic-tools & other effects work.
2: Don´t know how many mics you use. Try to seperate the vox in the pan. So the lyrics will be better understandable.
3: Drums , piano& synthpad sound "too far away" .Difficult to hear clearly.
Fellows! You´re on the right way. Great to see young people devoting theirselves to the music & creativity.
I´m sure you´ll improve your skills step by step with " a little help from our friends".
Keep on workin´, guys!!

Well shit Cp you've come a long way..Very Impressive work...Some mix issues yes, but nonetheless Im really pleased to hear your expanding your music production skills!!!!Not sure if Lisa has heard this but my guess would be that she would very proud of you indeed!!!
I'll be honest with you, I'm so much not into rap, it's all they ever play on the radio here as if it's the only thing that young people are aloud to listen to.
But even the stuff on the radio is so 'false' and 'designed' to be some marketeering perfection.......
This though I am SO much into.....maybe it's because it's how a rap is really meant to be, it's warm and flowing, you have lovely voices, classic tones for this kind of work.
I do think you could play with your levels....just to get everything balanced out and I think you could have spent a little more time 'molding' the first vocal samples into the 'flow'...you do it naturally when you sing so you just have to open your mouth and do your thing.
