An instrumental. I was listening to a lot of Chilli Peppers when I started writing this.

This sounds really really cool... but I want vocals here. You add the vocals and this would be a perfect rocking funk.
I really love the Peppers' hard funk stuff, and this has a lot of that.

The guitar riff is great, keeps it rocking.
Some work on the mix maybe, can't hear the melody lines too good, should be between 3 to 6 Db's louder than the rhythm section. The snare is too loud.

It would be interesting if you added vox.

As for tune, sounds pretty decent. IMO only with vocals can instrument levels be balanced properly, as they have to be relative to eachother and the vox. So far it sounds pretty solid, a nice composition it is!
