Simple but very effective composition.
I feel the rhythm should pick-up in the chorus, so perhaps work with the bass and drums, with maybe some sort of synth pad filling it out.

Yes it's bare .. I can imagine a shit load of good thumping and stuttering music to go with this, but at the moment it's the vocal that makes it.
And make it it does. I'm really impressed with your vocal and with the production of the vocal track on to such a simple piece of music......you could cut the music down even more maybe. and try it ...barer ........ and then come in with a shit load of thumping club
