Okay, it isn't sung with lyrics, but the lyrics are easy to place
If you just let me
Be what’s inside me
Then you will find me
More than you can handle
If you care to join me
In my adventures
Forget navigation
Just us two spelunkers
I will then be
Your silver lining
I will be with you
I am inside you
When we’re together
Noting can hurt us
We ignore bad weather
It’s where we find justice
If we can pull through
The doubts in you mind
There’ll be nothing we can’t do
Even if they’re blind
I will then be
You’re silver lining
I will be with you
I am inside you
Why don’t we leave here
And never look back
Destiny is near
Don’t regret what they lack
If they don’t love you
Then that’s their problem
There’s nothing you can do
But get away from them
I will then be
Your silver lining
I will be with you
I am inside you
If you just let me
Be what’s inside me
Then you will find me
More than you can handle
If you care to join me
In my adventures
Forget navigation
Just us two spelunkers
I will then be
Your silver lining
I will be with you
I am inside you
When we’re together
Noting can hurt us
We ignore bad weather
It’s where we find justice
If we can pull through
The doubts in you mind
There’ll be nothing we can’t do
Even if they’re blind

You’re silver lining
I will be with you
I am inside you
Why don’t we leave here
And never look back

Don’t regret what they lack
If they don’t love you
Then that’s their problem
There’s nothing you can do
But get away from them
I will then be
Your silver lining
I will be with you
I am inside you
There's something in this.... |
This is a very moody piece and although very basic (and no vocals yet, though I'm sire they'll be coming soon...we hope) it does have potential. With the right melody and harmonies I think this could be a very interesting song. Not your usual run-of-the-mill pop/rock song...I like something a bit different...
I love the simplicity of the sounds yet the complexity of the track.
I really get a Tom Waits feel from the main / first part, that clanging banging rhythmic thing.
It gets a bit thin at the breaks but that could be open for the lyrics.
I've listened a few times now and it's growing on me!
Have you got a version with the lyrics up?
