This song is not in a battle

I uploaded a version of this song two years ago - I since have re-recorded it... let me know what you think!

Kids on railroad tracks
Never turning back
With all their belongings on their backs
Kicked out their homes
Not a place to go
Their living in a lawless state

They’re on their own
Learning what they never known
They’re on their own
With no intentions of going home

Jenny plays guitar
Teddy’s hanging on for the
Ride she’s been promising her whole life
Sneaking into pools
The teen in rags are fools
But love is gonna keep them up
Like beams suspended on a bridge

They’re on there own
As they sleep under the highway bridge
They’re on their own
With no intentions of going home

    They’re on their own
Sleeping where their feet may roam
They’re on their own
With no intentions of going home

The bass is way to loud.
Apart from the production, which I guess is home-done, the track has potential. I actually think this would easily sound on the radio, properly recorded.
Good job.

Yup
Commercial potential ...agree.

Reminds me of the Dandies in feel ..in the vocal pit anyway.
Cool tune MsI435.
Hope you get to record the definitive version and it makes you rich and famous.

Thank you for the feedback iszul and blakhatz! When posted a shitter version of this two years ago people said the same things about radio potential! Maybe I should try to get this song recorded professionally! : )

Nice song but way too boomy in bass. Would benefit from a better mix. And I agree, radiopotential...
