This song is not in a battle

haha I just HAD to upload this song..!

a friend of mine requested an audiotrack to a video his about to make,
and I was supposed to do something completely different but I just drift
further and further away and I started to add synth and haha, Army-sounds, guns
and explosions and machineguns dunno what the hell I was doin' haha..

I couldn't really SING, 'cause this was made about 6 hours ago now, which means
my mom, dad and my sister were asleep. So I had to like, sing VERY quietly.
And the Screamo-part is Me whispering then I put a distortion-effect on it...
I've experimented with my VST-plugins again and well, that was one hour of
pretty sick inspiration, I tell you that

The "lyrics" are compleeeetly pulled out of the air, I guess I'm not even using actual words.
(the first vocal-part  "I don't know where I'm going, but I sure know where I've been.", that must be a total rip-off. 100% sure I accidently stole it from an excisting song.

haha but the summary of all this must be that I'm pretty pleased. I've never recorded a metal/screamo-song in my studio before and I think it's rather catchy, tell me what you think :P

This has some nice originality. imho the mix sounds just a bit off (more low end punch is needed). overall it's pretty good though.

Amazes me how you were able to record the vox whilst your family were sleeping

It sounds like you are having great fun

The drums sound buried, perhaps you can add some attack and compression, it might work??

Okay, I've got three questions:

*End punch?
*Attack?
*Compression?

haha I can say I have A CLUE, but... I'd love to get that explained to me. // the studio newbie

haha Denis, I sang reeeeally close to the mic (well, first of all we don't live next to each other, like One wall between us, But my mom seems to have 7.1 surround built inside her ears so that usually doesn't matter... but the vocals aren't That good either, I had to use another technique while singing sort of.. :P but yeah, absolutely I had a lot of fun

Thx for the comments guys

dude LOL fun in your studio for an hour. This rocks!

one thing I noticed though, this song would rock 400 times more if it wasnt screamo and it was a regular type song with the lyrics not fake screamed....lol
Then it would really rock. also throw in a guitar solo and your set

Pretty cool track
But I expected wildere drums at 00.03, It didn't really hit with a BANG
And easily turn the drums up, and a bit down for vocal
