The acoustic guitar at the beginning is very nice, I really like it. Oh, it seems like the entire song will be acoustic. I'm not familiar with the original song, but I think this would sound ace with vocals. you should try it. well played, Denis.a

Very beautiful... And I think that it's better without any vocals, it already sounds great. Happy holidays:D

And I LOVE Coltrane's version.

Thanks MM, This song is one of my Favs as in the title
I think I told you I used to play this song in a band, Godfrey Madura (Ex Steel pulse) played the Soprano,
when ever we played this song, we all felt 'CHARGED' after. It was like medicine.
Unfortunately, Godfrey passed away in 2008, I always think of him when this song is played, such fond memories.

wow, wasn't expecting that.

Love this song... in fact the whole Coltrane album.

Great idea with the acoustic guitar 'duet', played insanely well. Sounds really full as well.... very rich tones and great harmonization.

I guess if you haven't heard the melody before it could completely pass you by listening to this rendition as the melody isn't really in the front of the song but I'm sure most people have heard that melody many times anyway and this version just blew me away.

Would love to hear you write some songs played like this on acoustic guitars. Did i mention the sound is really impressive?

I hear ya, out of all the renditions (six) this one seems to have the best vib, just goes to show, it's not about how many instruments your playing, having said that, as in the title, this is one of my favorite compositions, so I would assume that may have something to do with it.
Cheers

Just simply enjoying myself Carston, I haven't got time for a band, if I get lucky and achieve early retirement, yeah a band would be fun.

Thanks for listening Otto. I may one say do a full Jazz version with a twist. I wouldn't want to sound like Coltrane. I like this version very much because it's all me
