I Heard Santa
*

This song is not in a battle

Just thought I would put this back on here. I made a few changes from the original version we did.

"I Heard Santa"

Verse 1:
well
The snow is falling
its not landing on my head
I made a promise
that I would be asleep in my bed
I kept looking out my window
to see Rudolph
with his shiny
with his shiny
red nose

Verse 2:
I wrote a letter
of gift wishes
I addressed it to Santa
I hope that he gets it
I've been told
that the
Mail gets
delivered to the
North Pole
no matter how cold

Chorus:
c'mon now
ohhhhhhhh
I heard Santa
on my roof top
I heard Rudolph
going
clickity clock
sleigh bells
were ringing
as he was
grazing tree tops
I heard Santa
oh
and I heard Rudolph's
Clickity clock's

Instrumental

Pre Chorus:
oh I heard Santa
and I heard
ole
Rudolph's
Clickety clocks

Chorus:
c'mon
c'mon now
oh,
I, I heard Santa
on my,my roof top
I heard Rudolph
oh I heard him
hes
going
clickity clock
sleigh bells
were ringing
as he was
grazing tree tops
I heard Santa
oh
and I heard Rudolph's
Clickity clock's

Bridge::
and
In the morning
It was quiet
Gran-ma
was still asleep
Gran-pa he was gone
and
I always wondered
why did Santa
look like my Gran-pa

Chorus:
ohhhhhh
I heard Santa
on my
on my roof top
I heard Rudolph
going
clickity clock
sleigh bells
were ringing
as he was
grazing tree tops
I heard Santa
and, I heard Rudolfs
clickity clock's

Verse 3:
and then
I saw my letter
next to Santas glass
with a
Baseball Glove
and a baseball hat
he even remembered
my favorite
Baseball Bat
oh, Santa
you couldn't have made
it any better than that

Long time Flyer.
I remember this one.
There is is nothing much wrong with the song, other than the recording quality.
No offence, but I would try re-recording it,  I can't put my finger on it what it is, but most of the tracks seem as though they have been dubbed several times over causing the sound to break-up.
Try and get a clean even sound.
How are your production skills progressing?

Thanks everyone...

Denis...I was going to re record this but I couldn't find the original files. I tried to EQ it as it was. As you can see I still have problems with quality sounds. But, I don't hear the song breaking up as you state...Yes..it has been a few yrs since we all did this..Just thought it would be nice to present it once more....

Yay, Christmas songs! This was fun to listen to.
The song does sound like the recording quality is low, but it's still a great song overall.
