Nice tone on the vox. Nice acoustic, mic just a little too close and need panning.
The harmonies are great, just go out tune a bit.
Hmm the harp is a nice touch, would have liked to heared more, perhaps play in the gaps, intro.
A little tip, when recording the tambourine keep the mic about one to two meters away from the mic otherwise it will clip even though it will show it is'nt on your equipment.

I like it.

The title of the song does not evoke the beauty of the song. Meaning, the title is too plain; in fact, I thought twice about clicking the title because I didn't think much would be hidden behind it. Change the title, because this song JAMS!! I love this song! I'm downloading it.... definitely! Thanks for the sweet song!

Call it... "Laughing Waters" or "Lapping Waters," whichever one you're saying at the end there.

Loved it!

This is really nice..Nice use of the instruments..very well placed and timed..nice harmonies...I like the sound and the smooth playing of the Acoustic Guitar.... good vocals and lyrics..as Denis said..the mic is too close...it may be a touch too close...but not much...I like "my wings are flying higher but, I'm standing in my grave" and at the 1:00 mark the addition of the shakers...Nice work..and welcome to Bandamp..

Nice Rating

Hmm I cool with the title..but anyways super nice song..Nice chord selection and very good harms..Super nice voice, totally dig the organic feel...very well done..As far as production I would work in getting for presence on the guitar and perc as they sound a bit afar.

man the harmonies later are superb, they add a lot to the song! I like the instruments you used, very simple, sound so live, i mean with very minimal editing to the sound. It's full of life How you use the voice is awesome in this song!!! One of a kind I heard today! good job!

LOL I don't even know what a 'Melodica' is.

Something like this I assume
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Boston-Melodica-Note-Hard-Piano/dp/B0013NB0HK/ref=sr_1_1/275-2670468-3662112?ie=UTF8&qid=1250591037&sr=8-1

I do remember seeing a couple of these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hohner-Button-Soprano-Melodica-Case/dp/B000MOMNWW/ref=sr_1_3/275-2670468-3662112?ie=UTF8&qid=1250591037&sr=8-3

The song is great, just needs a lttle buffing here and there.

Cheers

I like your voice, the melody is constructed well, the tamborine sounds fine thru my headset.THE melodica reminds me of "city of new orleans".Great song memorable.
