This song is not in a battle

HELLO!
A keyboard riff I made up a long time ago. I couldn't progress that idea and I just remembered it while jamming with my brother on the keyboard 3 hours ago. My mom heard it and she says it was good. And she told me she wanted to write lyrics to it.
I'll probably make it my own later, make it faster into more pop/rock/emo kind of song.

I know it doesn't have lyrics right now, but I haven't posted a song here so I just wanna put this up.

But here's the song progress.
intro
verses 2x
prechorus
chorus
verse 1x
prechorus
chorus 2x

pretty simple... enjoy!!

Man I tell you if you were to take it even more slow and with out all the extra sounds this could be a kick butt piece..Either way the chord selection gives it self to many arrangements so do what you hear...I really like this chord work...

Sounds like a John Lenon composition, I could just imagine [Yes a little pun] him singing to this.
I like the way it builds up, interesting peice.

NICE JOB

thanks marino. The reason I added layers and strings to it, is that I can't really play the keyboard that well and the
riff is so simple with the bass walking down the scale. I added the strings and the drums to make it more interesting.
thanks to you to denis! Sounds like a john lennon composition.... hmmm. Man I feel so humble. thanks denis!

I like this one a lot - although there's no vocal melody there yet, it's easy enough to put something over.
Ok, the strings are WAY too loud, and the drums are a little boring, but the actual composition is very nice.

As Eftos says this has promise.

Good stuff.

Ok, You know it has potential..then you must know that is very repititous also..at least it is to me...Its a very nice song that could be a great song...I'm not hearing a break in the chord structure...yes there are breaks from Verse's
to chorus's....but its lacking a bridge...just a small piece to set it apart
I think its lacking structure in that respect....but , like I said..its a nice sound....keep at it
If you ever get this to a final cut and your Mom doesn't write lyric's....I wouldn't mind giving this a go...I agree it would sound cool with a slight speed increase ....
