Night INTRO Final V2
*
This is the placeholder for a new MP3 player

This song is not in a battle

Ok, I wasn't feeling right about Night INTRO Final, so I changed the speech to something I knew he was saying, and shortened it quite a bit. I like this one the best, I dont know if you will, but comments are appreciated. Im working on recorded the drums, guitar, and vocals for the rest of the song today.

(This is the intro to a song I am doing called Night for school based on the book "Night" by Elie Wiesel. Its about the holocaust)

Final song coming soon. Thanks so much for your support everyone, I could not have gotten this far without you.

Translation of Hitler's speech: "The most precious thing that exists the whole world over is our own people. And for these people, and with these people, I shall struggle and I shall fight, and never slacken, and never tire, and never falter, and never doubt."

I think I cut out "And for these people and with these people" or something. I cut out some middle part...

I dont know when and how bandAmp will be upgraded properly, but TLS has created a 'Projects' function in the new upgrade. Ideally you could 'transfer' all your songs (intros) into the new sites project system....so maybe just keep them hanging about for a while!
I really like your intro....a lot! I like the different layers of sounds, it really sets the scene. That 'reverse chirp' is excellent. I like the child sample too, an opposite to Adolf, and it only adds to the tension of the piece though I would have made it a little longer and I would have made the footsteps harder, closer to marching.
I also think that making Adolf fade in and out a little and around the speakers would add to the effect of 'dreamlike waves of memory'. Just getting into your intro!

You better make a bloody excellent track to go with this now !

oooh fading in and out from left and right speakers....thats a  pretty good idea. i might do that for the the final song version.
thanks for listening and reviewing!! your support keeps me going.

lol. im trying to make it as bloody excellent as possible, but i must warn you, that I have the mood change slightly, (not so drastically that its like a summertime melody and kids are playing in the sprinklers though) to where the guitar is slightly bright, and the lyrics are calm...sort of bleak at the same time, creating a feeling of emptiness of what this kid is going through. then after like a mini solo and a couple of verses of lyrics im going to reincorporate parts of this intro to a massively overwhelming something or other, and then the guitar comes in once again, this time heavier, and with different arrangements, and this is where the awesome solo im working on comes in. its not a bleeding distorted solo, its in a blues scale...but It sounds good.

all this and more....coming soon to the amp near you

Wow yep heavy stuff... Stronger than the last version with this yelling Hitler part. And there's nothing overdone. It's dark and sets the tension and the sensations of fear like it's supposed to.. certainly looking forward to the complete song...

Well TK I reckon you could tackle game soundtrack using this a s a demo.
Listening again the story comes across here  told with audio ,  the cues , instant imagery
 FX &  vox grabs ,
gawd every time I hear a speech the hairs on the back of my head stand on end.
For those of us who grew up with radio ,plays and serials were great.
The actors , foley , music mix stimulated the imagination and the feelings of the listener were internalized as = no pictures.
Yeah the tension builds nothing overdone good job mate.
Stay loose

yea liking it, very cool intro indeed, like the heartbeat in the background subtle but nice effect, and the radio tuning sound also, now as marino said where is the guitar!

EPIC!
Dude... That was epic.

It gave me a great picture of a nighttime raid during WWII maybe, like somewhere near a German camp or something... Good mix.

And yes, the heartbeat was awesome!
