I finally got around to getting out the CD with all the original tracks and got down to remixing this song...I think that I have improved on the quality of the recording...let me know if there are any ideas floating around in anyone's mind as to making any improvements to this...Thanks

It kicks in at the 3:24 mark..stick around

"Wayne, Let Them Bleed "

To hear your voice one last time
to feel your warmth before I go
to fight another mans war
for questions that cant be answered
is this the way its suppose to be
politicians that take you away from me
who don't know a verse in the bible
they act like they care when we are six
feet below
damn this war God damn the demons
who
brings it

You see, I've been
writing Mother's dead Son letters
a flag
for a Son they'll live without
memories of friends in the twilight
holding on with every tear stained breath
baby
there is a God
please pray for us
we killed innocent men and children
we denied that we existed
now tell me
is this the way its suppose to be
is this the way it should be

Politicians have
dinner with their families while we die to
keep them free
and
they crucified us for their inefficiency
then they crucified us
for their inefficient deeds
my blood
its my blood
belongs to me
God Damn this war
God damn the demons
who
dropped their seed
God damn you all right to hell you should be
yeah you should be
the ones who bleed
no not me
this is your f_ _ _ ing
this is your
killing spree

Memories of friends in the twilight
Holding on, Holding on
with every breath of life
we been Crucified, Crucified
for their inefficiency
we been Crucified, Crucified
for their
inefficient deeds
my blood
my, my blood
you know that it belongs to me
c'mon Wayne
c'mon, Wayne
we got to let them bleed
not you, no, no not me Wayne
we ain't gonna
they owe it and they know it
they owe it to
you and me
c'mon,
Wayne, c'mon, Wayne
we gotta let them bleed

Ahh very heart felt rendition Ralph san .
Powerful music Schubbi.
Dramatic and engaging ,the build is perfect.... your vocal style & lyric shares genuine concerns that have eaten at peoples souls for endless generations .
Yesterday in doctors waiting room I read some of   Time Magazine with stories from the Gaza conflict,
there was also a Bible in this waiting room , I picked it up and randomly opened to let my eye fall on the first thing that I saw. What I read was disturbing from the book of Kings ....all that I will deliver them unto you, hatred> slaughter ,tearing up farm trees , taking slaves , casting stones across the land to ruin it.
I asked myself , what kind of God would demand this.
But then again who wrote this story , what was their plan ?
A personal hero of mine is an Australian Doctor who was interned at Changi POW camp Singapore ww2.
Under most difficult circumstances he tended to the sick and endured the cruelty of captivity.
A Christian , he converted to Buddhism after the war, his name
Weary Dunlop.

Thankyou for posting Ralph san your song has very much moved me .
best regards

Hey Flyer,

I have listened to a few of your many tracks and I have to say that this one is right up my alley.  Holy crap i love the instrumentation and the lyrics have a great deal of power.  The only thing I can't help but think, and this is merely because of the type of music I tend to listen to, is that the vocal track itself needs a ton more ferocity and fluidity.  The segmented vocal just doesn't strike i think as hard as a vocal onslaught would.  Also, conveniently the music wouldn't need to be changed at all lol.

Just a though Flyer lol, the only reason why I mention it is because of the strength of the song (music and lyrics) and because the moment it started I couldn't help but be intrigued.

How are you recording this?  There is just a lot of fuzz and static and I would LOVE to hear it loud, sick loud lol but the static holds me back.
Awesome piece man, seriously.

Thanks so much for the nice comment and for sharing....I like your story about picking up the Bible in the Doctors office...I guess God works in many mysterious ways...we question so much of it...and try to come to terms with it...I'm glad that the song moved you...Schubbi did compose one hell of a composition...

Thanks for the comment...your so right about this song needing a real kick ass vocalist..someone who can deliver with full force..kinda like a Janis Joplin venue...I tried to kick it up as much as I could and keep within myself...I think towards the end of the song I managed to do it somewhat...yeah, the music is very powerful, by Schubbi....I would love to hear someone give it a go with a set of real hard driven vocals...
as far as the static that you hear. I don't hear it on my speakers....if anyone hears static like 12InSilver..please let me know..Its really bugging me..lol

This is my favorite songs on bandamp. I think I liked the original recording better but I did like how you gave it  little more bass and kick.

Very heart felt I agree. The doubling on the voc is a little distracting at first. Vocs are a bit pitchy in places.
A fun song though. Keep producing it.

Surely one your best lyrics, Ralph - very fitting to the music. The spiritual references are making for a very strong emotion behind it. Well Schubbi's music kicks a lot of ass ofcourse, I'm really getting the impression Flyer's on a bloodrage
