This song is not in a battle

This is a cover of one of my favorite songs by the Jet Set Pilots, the band that I play lead guitar for.

Thanks to Peter Deleeuw for the lyrics and music. I wish I could sing it as well as you.

Lyrics:
life you stuck in a pattern, a routine
A path with certain obligations
Sometimes you gotta work hard to get to a dream
It takes a little bit of dedication

You wonder if the hard work will ever end
Will I live this fast paced life forever?
You have to find a way to mendwa
 the work and relax together

Work to do
Go to bed late
Time to work to don't hesitate
Work hard and you'll be great
Hold on, what about a break?

Don't stop singing tommorow
Don't stop singing tommorow
It's not today, so far away

Don't stop singing tommorow
Don't stop singing tommorow
Why are you blue?
You've still got tommorow ahead of you.

Life is gonna bring you troubles sometimes
But you know you have to overcome them
Don't let the little things bring you down
Only when you do is it a problem

Everything is in time, its got great quality, and a really awesome listen!
It sounds like your singing expands as the song goes on. Awesome lead guitar.
I really love the lyrics as well! All around a complete hit

Just for clarity, the lyrics were written by Peter Deleeuw, the lead singer of Jet-Set Pilots, and the arrangement of the piece was formed by the band as a whole. The rest of this recording is all from Matt's own interpretation. The lead parts are also written entirely by Matt.

You can find the original piece here if you are interested:
