i got some really eardrum wrecking headphones for christmas so i dont know what this will sound like through normal headphones or speakers

Sounds OK, I would love you to put a vocal to it with high mids, so that it gives a telphone sound type of eq.

Teehee.. but it's a lovely arrangement, and it's only a superficial resemblance. I like the clock sound in there... in fact I really like the whole of it. Sounds great through my headphones... Well done!

Well, I suppose if you'd sing the Blue Monday lyric over it it will turn out godsmacking awesome. Then again if you'd sing any lyric over it it will probably be just as fine. Yeah a telephone eq style vox seems nice, but not all the time... some wide stereo bright ones could do too for contrast... Hey.. I hear no vocals! They were only in my head. Maybe that's ok too
