It’s in the battle 2008-12

Jim doesn't know about it yet but I have used his lyrics from the Lyric forum....
I hope he doesn't mind. I composed the song as I went along recording it.
Let me know what you think, please. Just finished so it's as fresh as it gets.
I have left the third verse for Jim to sing to - if you want to, Jim!

The lyrics: http://forum.bandamp.com/Lyrics_Review/14960.html

Living Free

My life has become me,
My world all around me.
Thinking of the way I live
And what I do
And who I see
And why

I live in safe seclusion
Come on in to my illusion
Be blinded by my show
The more you see
The less you know
The more you see
The less you know
Of me

So now it's all inside me
Gagged and tied, but living free
Not giving clues to any one
In what I do
And what I say
No way

Fooled by my delusion
The simple and plain conclusion
I lost something when I let you go
Time to break free
Of this memory
Breaking free
Of the memory
Of you

PS.
Oh, dear! I've just noticed that Jim is already doing this song with Denis...

I love the chorus, quite catchy.

It will be interesting the two styles of music with same lyrics. I'm meeting up with Jim on the 9th
Dec to record the vocals.

As always JBP you never fail to impress me with your songwriting skills, you are a true pro. I enjoyed listening.

Well done!!

Good grief JBP you really do come up with some great music don't you!

I feel quite honoured that you liked the lyrics enough to write music to them... not sure I'll sing the 3rd verse yet - it will just confuse the hell out of me when I meet up with Denis in a week or so!!

I do like the chorus too - and the whole song is just so different to the way I envisage (and sing it to Denis' music).

Good job JBP, good job

wow
really nice...  great feel to it... will be nice to see how the other contrasts and compliments this one.. Seeing that the other is a much slower piece.. Should be really interesting...  Different moods for the same lyrics..

Amazing..This is not what I had in mind as far as music when I was reading Jiminuk's lyrics ..IA Pink Floyd style of music was in my mind for the lyrics..This is amazing JBP...The only thing I can add to what I have said is.....Well, I already said it ..Amazing. Nice work JBP..I'm going to save this one..

Beautiful.
That chorus sounds pretty catchy, and those "Oola Lala" reminded me of some Beatles stuff.
There's something in the mix that bothers me, but I can't tell what... may be some ambiance noise?
Anyway, great job with this lyrics.

Fantastic!
Very, very well put together.

Lyrics seemed short to me upon reading but I tend to go on and on with lyrics lol. Once they were added to music though, it turned out great!

Good simple lyrics with a mellow tune to back it up makes a good combination.

Seems some parts you could have pushed the vocals a bit more to get more out of the edge you have in your voice sometimes.

Great song guys!
