Hey. Gig on Thursday in front of representatives of Sony BMG, Universal Records, and SoCan I believe.
Required is a press kit & a demo. Here are my efforts.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah new strings + DIY pick up for guitar.
Made it out of a piezo element. Hard pan left.
Cardioid mic, hard pan right. Making a nice stereo sound for guitar.
Vocals are the usual, big diaphraghm cardioid.

This is a very nice piece.
I think the hard panning adds a nice effect.
Is this the demo?
Nice job,
I rated!

The song sound pretty good...I like your vocal harm arrangement and general projection...
The eq on the guitar sounds a bit harsh on the higher mids ,almost like it lacks bottom...As far as I can tell your voice sits on the same frequencies so I think if you work the guitar on the lower end frequencies your voice my sit better in the mix.Sort of finding the sound pocket for both instruments without frequency clash..Just a suggestion..Good demo though!

I'm tellin ya, German technology, the best in the world! Love it
Like your song a lot, you need to practice/strengthen your voice, but good it is, keep on going what ever they think of your demo!
Yes the guitar is 'very' crisp.
I like a lot of top end in a more dry cut like this. you can always take a little top end off easier than trying to add it. Some of the vocal doubling is a little off in spots. You sing the song ok but could hit it with a little more conviction or confidence it is a little weak in spots. overall pretty good though the song is excellent as far as writing and lyrics
I vote NOV battle song .

Good sound to the song. Could use some drums for sure.
You have a good enough voice, but it doesn't really stand out.
You really have to belt out those lyrics.
If the world is ending, I wanna know lol. So add some good raw emotion to the vocals and some drums etc to support the vocals and you have a great song.
I hear the same chord progression and strumming pattern through the whole song. Perhaps drop it to the background and get another guitar trac in there to spruce it up. Add a small instrumental in there just before chorus and build some momentum going into it.
Good work so far.
Good luck with your show!
