This song is not in a battle

An oldie but goodie. Just two simple acoutic tracks slowed down. Amazing how when I do that it sounds like piano. And no Im not british or ausrtailian. For some reason when I first tired putting vocals on, midway threw I started some accent and so said screw it and did it the whole way threw. Enjoy!

Im so tired, I can no longer sleep.
In a state of daydreaming.
What is real I cannot see.
When the world is blinded by labels,
they teach us how it should be.
In only one direction, chained to walls,
why cant they just let us free?

In my head there are no boundries.
Every road has a secret path to infinity.
One can only go as far as their mind takes them.
Its us that holds our selfs back.
You must have a leap of faith over the gap.

What are they trainning us for?
Keep your mind and eyes open.
They're coming for you at your front door.
Never yeld or hold back.
Focus chi and knock them to the floor.

In my head there are no boundries.
Every road has a secret path to infinity.
One can only go as far as their mind takes them.
Its us that holds our selfs back.
You must have a leap of faith over the gap.

With nothing in your way, its only you that can stop yourself.
Learn that it is okay to cry,
when this is discovered,
your tears will wash away the pain.
For the ones who mind isn't strong enough to see it,
the music,
will help,
carry you,
along the way.

Ok really, this is a pretty cool track indeed. I like what you did with the guitars. What a simple but oh so effective solution! The lyrics are brilliant indeed, I do like spoken word with an actual message every now and then (and can be found doing that myself every now and then too ) but, I do think the vocal track in the beginning was way too dry, you begin using effects later on which ofcourse is neat all but.. it's the overall production of the voice track that "didn't do it for me".

Methinks a better eqqing (increasing overall clarity of the voice track), slight compression and just a little bit of modulation with a droplet of room reverb would greatly intensify the vox, so that the track as a whole will start mesmerizing the listener right from the start, without them having to put much effort of their own in their to reach that same effect. Anyway, this is constructive criticism, all in all I DO like what you did (and rate songs accordingly whatever that means.. lol)

Okk so  nice job then
