This is a song about letting one thing take control of your life. Although the chorus implies it's some kind of "hurt by love" song, it's actually much deeper, about how one thing can go about screwing up everything else.

i think i can feel what you're going for here!  i'd love to hear the finished version of this song as well.  i like the subtle guitar moves, like a split second just before the first set of lyrics, and the quick muted hits at 2:24.  i think you have a nice style that you don't go overkill with!  great job!
