im not sure if this song was meant to be a joke?  theres just no comparison between this and the last song you posted ...

well anyways ill tell you what i think.  there's a good energy, but i think alot of the subtleties of the original song have been lost.  I've seen Coheed live and they are excellent at dynamics and contrast on this song, despite the fact that it's metal/punk.  Try to work on your alternate picking intro, making it smoother, less angular.  Also, watch the timing, there's some issues there as well.

your singing is fine, but you should try singing it up the octave like Claudio 

and i was disappointed that you didnt do the solo.  i remember covering this song back in high school, and the solos were the best part of that

not the best material...but at least the acoustic gtrs were recorded well...for yr set up

Hmm...not the best I`ve heard, but far from the worst. Actually it sounded just like me singing, but thats an different story. :-)
