Lay Your Gun Down |
You leave me, honey.
Is it 'cause you want my car?
You only think about money.
You better lay your gun down.
Oooh.
Aaah.
You leave me, honey
on the floor to die alone.
You only worry 'bout money.
You better lay that gun down.
Oooh.
Aaah.
You sold all of my thing
when I weren't around.
Better start working harder.
And lay that gun down.
Leave me, honey.
Leave me, honey.
Leave me, honey.
Oooh.
You leave me, honey.
Is it 'cause you want my car?
You only worry 'bout money.
You better lay your gun down.
You leave me, honey
on the floor to die alone.
You only think about money.
You better lay your gun down.
Leave me, honey.

kick ass lyrics. nice playing.. great chord progressions. production is ok. the solos could come up a bit. and the main guitar tone is a little dark (lacking top end brilliance) but overall it kicks ass. again great chord progressions.
This kicks ASS! I love the playing! This is my kind of blues! The are some things i wouldnt mind changing about the Eq on the vox... In places it sounds a tiny bit overblown but Im very much enamored with this song!
This is great! I really enjoyed listening to what for me is probably the most commercial sounding song of yours that I've heard.
I can picture this going down really well in folk/acoustic blues clubs.
I wouldn't change the structure at all, but would have the main rhythm guitar playing the twiddly obbligatos rather than a 2nd (sort of lead) guitar, which gets lost in the mix.
Good stuff Kine, I enjoyed listening.

Superbly bluesy! Great vocal performance (and effects) - I love that gritty rhythm guitar and the overlaid bluesy lead. Production wise it all fits perfectly together - no need for drums here. Well done!
Total and complete bluesy rockishness. Awesome job. The solo and the guitar could be boosted and brighter, but other than that, this is sweet
norwegian blues..... oooh aaah thats right yeah-...
