My take on war!
--Tokyo Throwdown

i dont want to be a musician,
consider me a politian,
I have the microphone
listen its my state of the union,
firepower likeiraq had hidden in storage,
oh wait... we never really did find those did we george,
all those soldiers and civilians still dying in vain,
and someone gets killed in america and they're blaming violent video games,
but when i turn off the xbox and flip over to the news,
all i hear about is people who were killed by you,
it was always blood for oil, and now it's spilled onto the pavement,
but at least they have the decency to put a statement on the television,
"sorry to inform you that 4 more soldiers died today,
friendly fire due to inexperience combined with a lack of training",
and it's hard to think these tradgedies actually happen for real
but these days they do their drafting when little kids kick off their training wheels,
and wheel them to a camp and teach them all to commit murder,
and ship them off to a war in some country they've never heard of,

and they leave as boys and come back as men,
with the blood of the innocent on their hands,
and the realize now that it'll never wash clean,
and they've taken lives for nothing
the smoke's too thick for a pirate's lungs, like yo ho ho and a bottle of rum
we'll fight until this war is done, like yo ho ho and a bottle of a bottle of rum

thank God we live in Canada, land of the free,
a country where violence doesn't seem to be mandatory
but i know what i'm saying, my tongue does not slip,
even if i lose friends like i'm dick cheney on a hunting trip,
but i am not the hunted, i am closer to the enemy,
and my politcal party consists of me and a drum machine,
and thats a bit more productive than the party in power now,
cause if kennedy was still alive there would probably still be two towers,
but i guess it's like they say, "only the good die young",
and "there's never a robert e lee when you really need one",
but i guess it doesnt matter, the president's put in his place,
cause nobody pays attention cause "it's a whole new election race!"
and this one's controversial so it has a bit of a catch,
people are watchin debates now like wrestling matches,
"dude one guy's black, and the other ones a woman!!"
"man i swear i thought i heard somewhere that there was a third one?"

and they leave as boys and come back as men,
with the blood of the innocent on their hands,
and the realize now that it'll never wash clean,
and they've taken lives for nothing
the smoke's too thick for a pirate's lungs, like yo ho ho and a bottle of rum
we'll fight until this war is done, like yo ho ho and a bottle of a bottle of rum

This is great man. The beat is off the hook. I like the effect on the vox.

Thoughtful, intelligent lyrics. Do you like Jedi Mind Tricks or Immortal Technique? This reminds a lot of both artists.

What program did you use for this? Any loops?

One thing I would recommend though is to lower the music a bit and raise the vox. I think it would sound a lot clearer.

The Music isnt my style..although I do like your work on this...I like the lyrics a lot..very strong and realistic...I think all war(s) suck....Back in the Vietnam era..a lot of Guys would venture to Canada to escape the War...(Your Homeland)..We woulkd call it a Candian Scam..

" I had to take a stand or run a Canadian scam "...some lyrics to.."My Last Night At Mcmahons"its not in the old version ..But I have changed the lyrics up some in the remake its a song we did..its Posted on Toasted Goats page...Have a listen if you like....

Cleverly constructed lyrics pretty powerfully delivered.... way off the style of music I like, but that means nothing really here, as you present this song very well indeed.
I'd be tempted to drop the vocals in the mix slightly but EQ the higher frequencies a touch to make them more audible (after all, you don't want to lose the impact) - that way it'll have the drive of the music supporting the punchy vocals.
This is a good bit of work

Um, this is next level stuff right here.  Plain and simple.  This is some underground sh*t like Mf Doom or somethin like that! This is deep and wide! Im betting most people here have never heard anything like this and im guessing a few cant wrap their heads around it fully.  This demonstates great talent in my opinion! I think i just found a new favorite artist on Bandamp!

Great groove... I like the mix.... Vox could be brought up front just a bit, with a deep bass voice like yours, it could resonate that much more powerful... Dig the words, too....
