A song I wrote about a girl with my old band Abaddon ..... Abaddon split up but I am now in another project called Simplex, ask about it if you would like.

i really like the vocals.  there's a few parts where i think you could put more feeling behind the words when you sing it.  great job though!  this reminds me of a song my old band tried to write (it fell through b/c our drummer was impatient!) where after about 2/3 of the song went on like yours did, it kicked into prominent guitar distortion and higher vocals   i really like the idea here.  maybe you could turn the guitar on the last 1/3 of the song up?  not too much though---i'd hate to lose out on hearing the vocals clearly.  i like this one!

Aww its really nice. What was the girls reaction to the song? I think most girls would melt if they had a song written about them even if it was crap (im not saying this is crap, i think its great) I wish someone wrote a song this pweddi about me    lol im kidding...

Recording is also pretty good, and the song is chilled - I enjoyed listening to it. Good stuff

There maybe something to say for not doing what we expect to hear on top 40 rock station.
Sounding like another band, might sell more records, but I don't think that busrting forth with a very strong guitar represents the "waiting" and the "giving up my life" aspects to the lyrics.
A super amped guitar way up in the mix would indicated more... agressive and asertive stances that I don't hear in the words....
