The timing, the melody, can tell the emotion that I guess you couldnt help filling that with. Enjoyed listening to it...

solace
what a smooth and calming ride. thinking about
life and the short span. this is an amazing piece
and something that has a real professional
sound to it. I love it!

Sorrow
It's strange that when you have lost someone close to you, you can write it into your music.  When my uncle died (he got me playing guitar ti begin with) I was so hurt that I couldn't play guitar for 3 months, every time I would try I would just start to cry, I'm not someone who normally cries but guitar just brought up a lot of dead memories that I had been trying to hide deep inside.  However when I did manage to start again I actually wrote something very similar to this song.  Not as good but very similar excellent  job amazing song and great guitar work.

I never think as myself as a professional but thank you very much for your kind words.

I think you did a great job and your pain is now documented for the times you forget how it felt. I do this, play back my creations to remember how it felt. Good job bro funny how it kinda sounds like some tracks i have.

great chord progression. i can imagine words just flowing with that song.
i also find that movies influence my music a lot, like last year when i saw a movie called "elephant" (which is based on a high school shooting that happened in america") i wrote this song that was so depressing that i had to stop playing. Because this one song brought out a lot of emotions that i had locked up already.
sorry to hear about your loss.  keep writing.

Not bad. Quality could be better but the sombre mood comes across well.

I can really feel the sadness
You can really feel the sadness and sorrow and I feel that it could do with a solo or something and possibly longer. I also feel that it could really do with somne vocals but damn it sounds so sad.
