This song is not in a battle

This is a tune I did awhile ago...kinda shows a lighter side of my stuff.....Everyone keeps saying all my stuff sounds liek Zakk Wylde so I had to put something on here that is totally different!!!! I think the coolest thing about it is that its kinda 2 different songs in 1(or has that feeling to me at least)...tell me what you think

Meh, not a big fan of the distorted rhythm guitar in the beginning. Also, I think you should lower the vox a bit. Sounds too loud to me. Nice harmonies though.

But I really like the lead guitar and the solo at 2:40. Very well done.

There are a couple parts where the rhythm is lost and it sounds very messy. The part at around 3:50 is a good example of this. When the drums start, it sounds out of sync with the vocals and guitar.

Other than that, well done. If you work on it a bit more and take care of the minor faults I stated, this would be definitely be a 90% or more.

Keep on rockin', man. I like the change of genre, it's always nice to try something different.

Great vox, they are very distinctive.

The mix sounds OK to me??

You could perhaps work on the production to make it sound warmer if that makes sence, but there again you may have recorded this live in one take, in which case brillent live recording.

Cheers

Denis
