Angels
*

This song is not in a battle

Angels in bell jars, so close but so far
Popping prescription pills of their own decision
Instant gratification, keeping your high sustinated
Pickled in a jar
Banging on the lid
“let me out” she said, all draped and hid

Angels hover over parking lots
Pretending to be something there not
Looking for the deal that will give there craving its meal
Pickled in a jar
Plucking this guitar
“let me out” she sad, I’m just a kid
“let me out” she sad, I’m just a kid

I just went from listening to some 'Azure Ray' and 'The Album Leaf' while having your song loading up and when I started playing your song, about half way through I forgot that I changed artists...
Very fucking cool song...

Your instruments don't line up quite right......
you sound like a bad piano player who can't get all the fingers to come down at once.

Otherwise it is well put together, it's certainly got a nice sound to it.

Words are good. nice melody. little bit weak vocally though. A sad song in some ways. Sounds almost like an abused person wanting to get free and out of their pickle jar. Thanks for sharing.

I would tell you what it means... but I think art is better when its interpreted by others.

hey
This is really cool.... =GREAT VOCALS!!!   Love the whole feeling....  I tell everyone, the best test of a song, is if the listener can FEEL the song...  And I can really feel this song...  Some songs are toe tappers, some are singalongs, some are mosh pit headbangers, some songs are just felt, this is one of those....

                Kudos my friend..

I LOVE the feel of this - i really cant say any more than that.  Its really 'delicate' if that makes any sense in english...everything sounds like if you change it at all it would sound bad or out of place.  Its just in the perfect place in between amateur and over produced that gives music so much character and power.  Brilliant!
