I'm pretty happy with the way this turned out, except for my vox which aren't my best. I wrote and recorded this in one day (today, actually), except for the lyrics themselves which were left over from years ago. The person they refer to hasn't even been a part of my life in well over five years, haha. But I'm fairly pleased with how this turned out. Far from perfect, though.

I like that whispering part, but the backing melody don't fit here (the ones that found funny)

I was playing this in the background and only realised by the end of the song that while I wasn't listening with my full attention my foot was tapping and I was humming the tune. I think thats a sign of a great catchy tune, maybe not a show stopper but good relaxed music. very easy on the ear.

Well I'm glad people had some positive stuff to say about this. I've been searching high and low for someone who plays trumpet to re-record the 'weird sound'

I hope more people listen and let me know what they think! Getting feedback like this helps me want to record more.

very cool . I like some of the productions stuff you did in this.  the doubled vox line sounds off at times (it's hard to do).  I like the feel of the song and the melody is very catchy.

Good song structure...Yeah your are a pretty good song writer IMHO..I few spots the vocal pitch was a bit off!!!This is a solid song sing with confidence you've got the voice!!!

Yeah sing it out ,ahhh trumpet would be good , you got any midi , yeah I know the midi tones can suk sometimes but placed in the mix corectly , can at least suggest the instrument.
