This song is not in a battle

This is part one of a larger four-part piece of music.  The ending may be cut off a bit because of how the tracks got divided.  Again I believe this to be a nice cross-section of our style.  Enjoy:)

Awesome. great recording and brillian mood track. Ur genre would appear to be very overtly sci fi influenced (kinda epic). It would also account for the fact that you do things in series!!     In some parts guitar reminds me of War of the worlds.

Again I think the vocal should stand out more.

Sweet tune.  Nice recording.  Gets a tad boring about 1:50 into song.  The vocalist has to at least sing with the heavier part more.  Ok, there he goes... not liking the heavier part with the vocals much now.  I think the vocalist needs to capture the heavier part better by jumping into it right away and letting it carry him through.  It sounds like the singer is singing a background part and there should be a lead-vocalist singing more words.  What's going on there?

Ok!  Now this I'm liking!  I'm new to this site and I hope there's more cool shit like this around!  I saw this band on the "Next Battle" tab and listened to God Emperor first.  Although I thought the song was good it wasn't really something I'd listen to.  Now this is something I would!  It reminds me of early 70's art music where you really had to listen to a song for more than 2 minutes to get the tasty sections.  Love the change ups that happen about 3 minutes in.  Seems like a tight band in general.  Drums/guitars are thick yet pretty in the slow parts.  Great strong vocals.  The only drawback I can say is I'd like a better recording.  Look forward to more songs.

Well I was going to review the rest of the bands in the current battle, but something about the last song made me want to check out another.  I really wish there were lyrics to your songs as I'm really interested in what the vocalist is trying to say.  VERY creepy beginning with solid guitars and the vocals give me chills (again with the dark church aspect).  I maybe don't like this song as much as God Emperor just based on that it seems as though the vocalist carries the song, I get bored by the music at points and am just waiting for the vocals to save it again.  I must give props to the middle section and it's time changes.  I I like that you guys aren't putting out 3 minute songs and are taking your time trying to get somewhere.  You guys are on to something and it'll be something given time to develop. Keep it going!

Hypnotic, relaxing and a good recording. I like all the different instruments and the vocals also... although I think the vocal performance could certainly have a little more strength in it.
