You Sure Do Something to Me

A collaborative effort with a friend. She wrote the lyrics, I wrote the music.

I like it a lot.  Would love to hear this recorded better.  The structure is pleasant and almost pleasantly predictable like a wonderfully worn pair of jeans.  I like when the vocals back off and the guitar does a little jig.  The lyrics are very powerful and it makes it cool in subtle sort of a way.  Nice work.

Yeah, sweet - pity the recording is so crap, the vocal drop-ins are a bit obnoxious but as you say when you get past that, it's a nice collaboration on the music/lyric.

I have a strange view on recording quality, you see it's not all about the recording quality that makes a great song.
dont let put you off your performance.

I quite like the song, would love you to build on it. you dont need to have expensive kit to get a reasonable recording, you'll get plenty of help here on the forums.
