It’s in the battle 2008-09

This song my cousin (Connor) made. He is doing drums, and guitar in this one. I thought I would put it up here. Tell us what you think.
(Personally I would say he has the timing messed up in some places...but lets see what you think!)
He calls it Blank.

Also, I think that there is too many things going on at one time in some places. What do you think?

yeh, some timing issues...  I think if the recording were made in a fuller quality sound, the various instrumentation wouldn't sound like it was too "busy".

conceptually, it's not bad at all.  recording quality could use some work   as well as a real drum set, but hey.  we work with what we've got.

Cool stuff! You are my new favorite! What was he using instead of a drumset? I would like to hear a bass and maybe some keyboard or multiple drum parts.

Yup timing is out!!!
The fact that you guys are putting this together is great!!!
Is that a whistling in the background!!!!
When I was about 10 I had a start up band were we used trash cans and hangers for drums ,my mom always got pissed because we always ended up breaking the bottom of the trash can or bending all the hangers.. We had two guitars and always played the same 3 chords, the solos had only had two notes. This is a great reminder of where I came from....

For the drums, Connor was using his desk and I think some books to bang out the beat.    And yes thats whistling. I thought that was a cool addition.
I am hoping we can get some bass and keyboard in there, and hopefully record real drums on this.

I think connor was banging on school books and his desk or something for drums. He was renting a drumset but when he made this song it was after they had stopped renting it. He might buy one I think.

Yeah connor likes to pan everything hard left of hard right...I guess its his style.

I just posted your song on here cause we are technically a "band", and I dont think you had an account at the time, and I didnt have many songs to post, and I wanted to put it up here to show people some of your old stuff.
