Nice work guys. Really like what you made here.it could use congo's or some sort of percussion. Oh and yes, u definately need better recording equipment, however if you wish to intro this as something one would pull out from the past it works fine too..Keep it up.. Wish i had started out as early as you guys

Yeah thanks for the review. Yeah we were planning to have it like all old-stylish in the beginning, and then the recoridng cleans up...you know like in Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.

That "old" vinyl effect is not in place, or just too unrealistic. Everything sounds good, except the click that repeats constantly and it is just annoying

Yeah we didnt try to have that click. I told my cousin to try to remove the click but he was like, "No! Thats what gives it the old style."

But hey we r still working on it, hopefully we can clear up the recording.

very nice guys stayed in decent time.  and the lead scale was done very well.  great start for recording(way better than my first recording).

Stay with it and keep working and learning music and recording techniques. your at such a young age anything is possible.  You have talent.

..
I think that you have a song that you can build on...the recording can use some work..but like you say, this is about 2 yrs old..so you probably have progressed since..I need to hear your more recent work to really determine that..Good luck with the band..and welcome to the Amp...thank you for your recent comment..

Awesome yeah thanks. I will be uploading a song that me and my friends made about 1 year ago called There's a Time, and this one wasn't done by The Kunadiuns, (my or "our" band that did I'm Gunna Be Ok and Seek un Soul and Blank), this band is a band with all of my friends who live in tucson, (half of the kunadiuns band lives in canada, and half lives in tucson.)
We dont have a name for this Tucson band, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I like the song with the recording you have it sounds like it was made in the 1940s.
you should keep the sound around.

hey yeah thanks utune!
yeah I think we might try to keep some stuff like this around for our album that we are working on.
thanks for the critique!
Well to record this song we used 2 Aiptek DV-4500 video cameras, (they had voice recorders) so we used the voice recorders (these cameras are worth like less than $100. maaaajor crapola )
We recorded each track simultaniously with me on the chords, and connor on the lead scales. about 30 feet away from each other. we were both on acoustic guitar. then guess what we used to mix it?
sound recorder on windows XP lol
so I guess thats what we get for using...umm...that lol.
whats awesome is that the only thing that we had actually written down was the rythm and chords that I was playing, connor was going freestyle on that one! that was allll random!

but in brighter news I am getting a XENYX 1204FX Mixer, and it can record directly to our computers, so new great songs will be coming out later this year!
stay tuned!
