in this, i try to mix two popular genres, rock and jazz 'try' is the operative word however, i want to leave that up to you, does it work? It's a little scruffy around the edges as the keyboard is an instrument i just dawdle on, from the word go this piece is improvised, that's why its so long, i just couldn't stop

Nice instrumental.Well,I've got several things to say:
1.The instrumental is good
2.You have to make some different drum rhythms-I mean real jazz rhythm.Not 4/4 only....
3.Gotta work on bass line too....
4.Strings are quite good
5.Gotta use also and jazz chords...like (A7,Esus7,Em/D....etc.)
6.Try to do this things...to up-grade your song

cool improve idea.... you should expand on this some more with some percussion change ups and throw in a few turnarounds.. give it some backing chords and add to the instrumentation.   good start for improve though.
