It’s in the battle 2008-01

This is v2.0 of Hissy Impromptu. Thanks to MaxdB for removing most of the hiss, incredible work!  As said before, this impromptu I recorded originally to test the soundcard, but I liked it. Hope you all can enjoy it better now.

I can just picture someone in a bar just before closing hours, drowning their sorrows.

Very moving.

Man i love th piano playing ,, this sounds real good now. I love the tones.chord progressions. This has a lot of feeling in it. gets high vote......

the other sounds coming in at times are a little strange thought compared to the piano.

I might be able to appreciate this song more if the piano chosen was different.  Something about it makes it sound like it was done with a cheaper keyboard, like a Yamaha starter keyboard with not as real sounding instruments.  In no way am I disregarding the talent of the musicianship though.

Well, Marino, I have actually not resolved the issue yet. What I'm doing so far is trying to minimize it with the controls at the time of recording. MaxdB gave me a hand also by postprocessing the audio to remove the hiss, which is really some kind of weird echo.
Whichwyzwurd, the original piano sound is very good, but in order to remove the hiss from my sound card, the sample quality was unavoidably changed. Take a listen to the original recording "Hissy impromptu" and you'll see what I mean. I believe that, until I get a new soundcard, this last version is a little bit more enjoyable than the other one despite that sample quality problem.

Guys... what soundcard should I buy for good music recording that be not that much expensive?

It's like the calm after the storm. A slow change of emotion from longing to satisfaction.

Kudos to you !

Thank you, guys. I think I located the sound problem I had for recording, so next song I post will sound much clearer. Great that you could enjoy this one despite the noise reduction that had to be made!
I've been trying to play other imprompti and didn't get the same performance result again. I guess I will have to sit and compose something next time :P
