Merry Christmas, Baby
*
Back in 1998, I participated in the recording of a little Christmas cd (destined for sale with the proceeds going to a charity organization). My girlfriend (at the time) was a local singing sensation and she pulled together a little band composed of several pro musicians and ME (not a pro). We recorded this little number, a cover of a well-known Charles Brown (later a Southern Culture on the Skids) tune. I'm playing rhythm (not lead) guitar on this one. I realize this is a cover, and that we may decide not to allow covers on this site (which I think may be a good idea), but, in the spirit of the season, I thought I would slip this one in (only to share this, not for battles or critique, as this is both a cover and a relic from the past). If necessary, I will gladly jerk this off the site. Anyway, here it is...Happy Holidays to all you guys!

And you let someone with a voice like that GO?! Cat! Where's your sense of reason!

Hey, not a bad little number at all, it's well performed indeed. That lead guitar sounds ACE. But I like Kine's songs better (lol). Anyway it's not bad at all, don't know what else I can say about this.

Um well its not invoking those typical snowy pine tree views I associate with christmas songs - but I like that blues/rock sound, gives me a good vibe commonly associated with a good night on the town
