As you say... it's a noodle.
These bits of music often have parts within them that you think "yes, I can use that". They're also a good exercise in recording, and teach you playing skills.
I once read that one guitar artist always records his own practise sessions and then listened to them to get ideas for future songs (can't remember who it was though, which is a little annoying!).
There are some interesting things going on here; I like the guitar sound, and the main simple guitar riff is pretty haunting..... but this is a long introduction to something more dynamic to my ears.
Work on it, develop it, add more instrumentation, and see where it takes you.
