Break Me

This song is not in a battle

Well, since you gentlemen have been so kind to me in the past, (and have such a sick addiction to our arena style rock-n-roll), I just had to whet your appetite once again.  I saved my favorite for last...so here you go...another track from HASTINGS...Break Me.

Recorded same time as "Million Dollars" and "Be My Own Man".

Sorry I can't make the BAND AMP NA get together in Niagara-On-The-Lake.  I grew up in Buffalo NY, so I know that area well...beautiful.  Have a great time...and remember, don't do anything I wouldn't do.  HAHAHAHAHA

Nice, I love disgusting, outrageous rock n' roll.  Good performance, instrument and vocal-wise.  The vocals are a bit spotty in the first verse, but everything comes together better.  The guitar is the right amount of messy.  I love the dirty distortion.

The mix/master is definitely the weakest part of the track.  The lead pans all over the place and it kills the vibe.  You sound like you have a wah pedal on for most of it.  Also doesn't work for me.  There is some general EQ and levels trouble throughout the track, but for the most part, everything I have problems with is mixer stuff, which is a great place to be.

This reminds me of one of Marino's tracks, but I'm blanking on the name.  That's as good a compliment I can give you in this community.

Good stuff!

Reminds me a little of Kiss....

I like the raunchy guitar...though sometimes the treble on the lead guitar seems to peak, making it a little hard on the ears - but what the hell - IT"S ROCK N ROLL - it's supposed to be painful.  I like it.

Thanks Denis
This track was done in the studio, but was given some extras to make it sound more a-"live".  Thanks to everyone that commented !!!  Rock on.

Pretty good classic rock sounds.

A well recorded piece of music, that's played and sung very competently indeed.

Could be one to download and stick on the MP3 player in fact (I'm just on the mellow side of a serious rockaholic!) as this fits in very well with most of the stuff I listen to nearly all the time!!!

I'd love to hear this stuff live!
