This song is not in a battle

Had an empty house today so I figured I'd make use of it and do some recording. Came up with this  indie/psychedelic pop thing. I was kinda going for a a rough recording quality and considering im using the microphone from a computer headset i think the quality of the recording is decent.

Listen stoned with headphones for best result. I tried to layer some trippy noisy flaming lips shit tracks that are kinda hard to hear without headphones.

Anyway give 'er a listen and let me know what you think.

I like it!  It's different.  very Beck like.  Recording quality doesn't always matter.  I like the raw feel to it.  I can't hear the lyrics too well though.  I like how the slide repeats that one melody.  Maybe bring up the vox?  Good stuff though.  keep it coming

I really like the idea of going for taht raw sound - I think it fits the style of the song.  If you have the time and equipment what I would consider doing is trying to go for a proper recording, then play around with degrading it on your computer so you can get an equally 'raw' sound for all instruments used.
Take it and run!!!

Good vibe!!!!!
Simplicity can give so much and this a perfect example.
I would work on the timing and recording quality(you mentioned) because this song has lots of potential.Great job!
