2Dam Emo(The Broccoli Song)
*
A friend of mine came over, and showing me something he was working on, after hearing it, I couldn't get it out of my head..  Then I started messing around with it a bit myself, and then started just making up stupid lyrics... what you are about to hear (or already hearing) is recorded in one take, me and my guitar, just playing and making it all up as I go.. it's all in the name of fun..

Wow Jim your playing is becoming very fluid.Nice guitar sound..Whats the noise on the back.(Mp3 sound maybe).Anyway careful with the high notes don't strangle your voice, maybe drop the tunning a bit,it should fit your voice better.Great feeling!!!

I love this sort of creation, 'make it up as you go along stuff'.

You can't substitute the feel for this kind of creation.

I thought your voice was ok, you may have sung out of tune hear and there, but this is to be expected for 'make it up as you go along'

This style really suits you Jim. If you practiced this style more often, you will one day produce a magic song, 'I just sence it'.

You could always add some lead or whatever in the gaps, but it's still OK as it is

Reminds me a bit of "Choppin Broccoli" by Dana Carvey.  Interesting, to say the least.

"I'm going to get some fries , I can see it in your eyes"
That's got to be one of the most romantic lines I ever heard!!!
Beats Romeo and Juliet hands down.

Love your moment of inspiration ! The guitar is very flowing , so is your vocal when you catch a good gust of words.

What IS that sound in the background? It sounds like the pump from a fish tank.  Oh there are some other sounds in there too - like your watch is hitting your guitar when you're strumming!

Jim... there are some very strange things going on in your mind.

Marino said about your playing becoming more fluid... he's spot on with that.  There's a great improvement in your guitar playing with this.
Vocals good too... but very weird!

Apart from the strange background noises, the recording of vox, tambourine, and guitar are good and clear.

Funny song
Don't think I'll go get a hamburger........ must check my screensaver settings!
