Howl at the Wind
*
This is the placeholder for a new MP3 player

This song is not in a battle

This is my "interpretation" of Rackdaemon's SYNCHD in E
A pretty hard hitting rock track that I just had to do vocals on...
(Also added the guitar solo - that came out ok I think.)

Lyrics are available HERE

OK, there are others whose voice is probably better suited but hell, I enjoyed making it!
Hope you enjoy it too.

And of course, thanks to Rackdaemon in the first place for posting such a great bit of music.

This is really good Jiminuk, Love the details you have going on with the harmony parts and real good melody.A  bit of mix separation but still sounds good!!!

Cheers guys... glad you enjoyed.
Marino I know what you mean about mix separation - it does sound like I've added vox and lead to a backing track!  Possibly it's because the whole thing was mixed using headphones for my audio reference - I didn't process Rack's original recording, so perhaps that would have helped to cure the "added on" sound.

I'll play with this again to see if I can cure those issues... but won't post it again

And thanks for the votes too!

Your vox are pretty dam good. I heard somewhere that with rock vox they cut through better at 10% below your highest range

This rocks

Hmmm, listened to this again with a different set of headphones - definitely "thin" sounding.  I will definitely have another look at the original tracks and have a play around with some settings.  It almost sounds like the recording's made in a box (it wasn't, honest!)

Hey ho!

very cool
man this is pretty good ..I was kinda working on this in a different way but I think I like yours better.  This kinda reminds me of some of the later Glen Hughes stuff (vocally).. I like it alot.  crap now I don't know if I want to keep working on my version in the same vein I was headed in... hmmm ..... quandry.......lol
