Sunset - Crack
*

This song is not in a battle

Ok, here goes the history of the song we made with my band Crack (ex Oir):
Monday's night we made the start of the song.
Tuesday we built the whole song.
Wednesday we recorded it, in the living room, home-gear.

This is the idea of the song, so is not as good as we would like but is pretty understandable. It has mistakes and timing details, but you will get it anyway. Also my solo is pretty bad, cause it a bit hard to make a solo in a couple of hours in a 5/8 x3 6/8 basis.

Well, hope you leave a comment on this.

Lyrics:

Verse 1:
Deep blue eyes has gone away
She has walked, nothing said
And she goes without her heart
Without a word, without a chart

Verse 2:
Baby I trust you ( she said)
Baby I love you (and then )
Baby I’ll miss you
But baby, I’m leaving you

Chorus:
Your heart is gonna hurt
Cause you’ve given up the cause
And my heart is beating fast
You don’t really care your heart
Your heart...

Verse 3:
You know you love me, baby
But just can’t be my girl,
I wonder why, I wonder why i really wonder why
But you just can’t be my girl

Chorus:
Your heart is gonna hurt
Cause you’ve given up the cause
And my heart is beating fast
You don’t really care your heart
Your heart...

Chorus:
Your heart is gonna hurt
Cause you’ve given up the cause
And my heart is beating fast
You don’t really care your heart
Your heart...

Iz,

Excellent work, I love all the changes, great refrain, excellent vocals and lyrics, at times I feel some Rush influence (of whom I LOVE!!) Very nice, tighten this up a bit and it will be glorious!

Thanks for feedback.
Let me see...
The vocalist wrote the lyrics about his own experience in his last days, so he wanted them to be direct.
And yes, we a huge amount of influence of Rush!

excellente'
nice job this is pretty tight considering you just wrote it. I would love to hear it again after you have rehearsed it for a little while......you know......uhmm,.. where you get to the point where you just "feel it" and don't have to think about it.

again super job on the guitar and vox.  The song composition show good musical talent and skills.
Gets good vote....it would be a top vote but I feel you could do it tons better with a little more time.

P.S  I say gets good vote even though I don't know if the voting thing even works lol
most impressed with this song

I know exactly what you mean, Greg.
With a couple of days of practicing we are going to "feel it" for sure when we play it, so it'll sound a lot better.

I dig those live recordings. They are just "live", you know!
Good song, good music, nice proggy feel.

The only thing that I would do, is to increase the tempo a bit and add some synth pads - would give more fuller sound scape. But that's just me, so don't take it straight away

Keep 'em coming, bro.

Well done super live sound, vox are great, super arrangement.

You did a great job considering the short space of time you had to do it in.

Hope you find time to get it tight.

I'm voting for sure.

Thanks for the feedback.
Well, Synchu, actually, if we had a keyboarder we could add some synths and stuff, but we don't have at the moment... Though we could make the singer play some easy notes and chords in the keyboard while he can. Is not a bad idea..
