This song is not in a battle

Hey all,

That's a little rock piece with a lot of mood, I think.
Hope you'll like it.

I will be more than happy if someone takes it over and adds a vocal line

Hmmm,
this is more my style of rock.. it's close to what
we use to call hard rock..  which back in my day
included quite a few different stiles of metal,
heavy metal and hard rock..  aerosmith, blue
oyster cult all the way out to judas priest and
black sabbath were all included in that heading..
I have to admit, I did like b.o.c. there!!!   :-)
but right now in the past ten years there has
been a insurgence of what we called speed musics..
I.E. Speed Metal, Speed Punk, and so on.
I have trouble adapting my brain to some of it.. lol
I've found that it's just not as aesthetically pleasing
to the senses as say  b.o.c. or even Led Zeplin were..
this does need a good story line to take it over the
edge into a rhelm of being commercial music..
but at the same time, it raises way above the forms
of music out today that uses the same Old tried and
proven idea that the right beat incites the psyche to
react.. most of the time, unfavorably..
I wouldn't mind a good album of you staying in this
musical frame of mind.. but all instrumentals wouldn't
hold my interest for very long and just don't cut it..
team up with someone..  even a person you know,
female or male, that writes alot of poetry..   there's
very often your best "oppressed" lyricists!!!!

Blessings,

Bluey

What a fucking excellent piece of music!  LOL

Got it up loud, next times going louder !!

I don't actually hear any other band in there , lots of styles yes but but no "O! sounds like..."
Too busy keeping up with it!
Love the way you have a continuous 'push' going on, yet it really rocks and gets very funky as it pushes it's way forwards !!!

I'll agree with swordy that the recording is excellent but the performance could have been tighter, it still has a few 'glitches' ! Gives is a delicious real time feeling but on closer scrutiny makes moments of it sound like your still rehearsing it !

But still an excellent piece of music !

Ditto to Swordfish and Kings.
Good bit of work, decent recording, but timing needs a little work (not that it's bad, but the piece loses some impact because of it).

Pretty decent construction, and a nice sound chosen for the guitars.... oh, but the ending sucks!!!

Thanks for giving it a listen and your feedback.
Bluey - what a great post ! Thanks, bro - rock'n'roll all the way

The piece is a result of basically couple of hours recording/mixing, (incl.the drums and bass lines), that's why in couple of places throughout the song the timing is not that tight. Next ver hopefully will have some vocal lines and those couple of 5 secs with timing issues re-recorded. But generally I believe that the timing is realy not that bad

This automatically reminded me of my song Artificial Hate, for the rock impact you get when you first listen to it.
I don't remember what other people thought about mine, but in this case I think it needs a vocal line, may be because of the fact that there's not a really clear line with a notorious melody on it, and people, as we historically know, need something they can sing or hum.
But the whole building of the track is pretty good. I think the timing issues gives it a more natural feeling. You have some great guitar skills, but you should take advantage of them in a way, as Blueyes said, more commercial ( not fan of commercial rock, but i think you'll understand my point).
Just that. This is and awesome rock tune and I bet you'll make a good song out of it!

Thanks Iszil ! Glad you like it I am going to work a bit more on the vocal lines and if no one is going to chime in with (certainly) better singing abilities than me I will probably through in some of mine (nearly terrible) vocals
