This song is not in a battle

This is one of the two songs I was talking about to show
example of my voice for marino and flyer, as per our
discussion....  remember this is off a cd, off a cassette
tape, off a stereo reel to reel, off a six track reel to reel..
The owner was a very domineering soul.. you can tell
by his cymbol play in this one.. hell I've not heart these
cuts in twenty six or twenty seven years now.. I did put
the lyrics in the lyric review forum I believe..

Oh, hissy hissy, wobble wobble!!!

That aside (and I appreciate the reasons why Blue, I really do) this is a lovely bit of music.  Good construction, and instrumentation, lovely lyrics, and really excellent vocal delivery.
Just the ending that I don't like - I think that this deserves better than a fade-out (but then I never have liked faded endings)

Come on Dan, get that damn studio sorted!!!

Jimmy my friend..
I'm so frustrated and depressed over this,
that I'm about ready just to sell it all, even
all of my instruments except one trombone,
two guitars and my piano.. it's bad enough
I am being forced to live in such impoverished
conditions...  o.f.w.  I digress..

thanks bro.. that does help!

Jim,
Did I forget to mention, it was written when
I was a tender 14yrs old??  It was one of the
first three or four songs I ever wrote in my
life..  It was written about when one of my
best friends moved away because his dad
got stationed somewhere else.. never heard
from him or anything about him ever again..

Bluey

Blue,

This is lovely, especially considering this is one of your first songs EVER.  I am from the time of record albums and cassette tapes, therefore, the hiss gives me a lovely nostalgic feel   I can hear underneath all of that production problem to a really lovely song, great music, great vox and lyrics - a lot of feeling in them (which I am all about). There is this wonderful tenderness, I really enjoyed this piece!
