Synth/Samples - Suzanna |
I'll take you and leave you there!
A creation from about 2003
I was trying out automation at the time.
The bass drum is a bit repetitive I know, get over it and listen!
Structure !! Mmm! It has a story, and one well worth following too!

Wow 2003 man !I dint even know this even existed
Glad you like it ! All part of the process!
Dinamic : Spasibo !
I like the stringed synthy sound, approx 2 mins in. It would me nice if that was more sustained to fill out the sound.
I don't think the bass drum as at all repetative, infact it's whats keeping the rhythm going.
Have you thought about a bass line to support the bass drum?
As with the arrangement, I think you should keep the song more rhythmic all the way through. It gets more rhythmic as the song progresses.
Who is Suzzana?
It's certainly different.
It's so nice to here your music, hope you put up some more me 'ol mucka.

Suzzana was an amazing woman I met on a beach one day , yes we got together for a while and no it didn't last but she was there when I was making this so it's only fair.....!
I built this up sound by sound so it is supposed to 'become more' as it progresses. I have two songs that still crash the system when I try to play them in Cubase, this is one of them !!!
I have a few more in the old archive but they only get stranger !!!!!

Must have doest off away that year.
Thought I'd have to have another listen to some of your stuff Kings.... as you know, I'm not big on the techno stuff, but can really appreciate the way this is pieced together.
The increasing ambient "pressure" is good stuff - I like the layering from embryo to full grown monster! Agree with Denis on two counts - 1) the bass drum drives it along, and doesn't sound too repetitive, and 2) A thumping funky bass line would really add an extra dynamic to the whole.
I was slightly disappointed with the ending, which I wanted to be almost a synthetic mush but that does mean that I stuck it out to the end.... so it must be good.
