This song is not in a battle

I'm having a go at lyrics. Feed back on the vox and lyrics would be great

Heart Strings

Can’t find the words to say
How much I feel for you
My feelings of love for you
Are beyond my vocabulary skill

[Chorus]
That sing true as I know they should be
What my emotions tell me
I can only play this melody
And strum my Heart Strings
Strum my Heart Strings
Strum my Heart Strings

My Heart Strings play for you
How much I feel for you
It’s something I can’t explain
My words just don’t sound the same

[Chorus]
That sing true as I know they should be
What my emotions tell me
I can only play this melody
And strum my Heart Strings
Strum my Heart Strings
Strum my Heart Strings

[instrumental]

[Chorus]

wow, a cheesy love song. lovely instruments and heartfelt lyrics. You sound like your struggling singing the higher notes, i spose that can only be solved with practise.
 A very nice song overall

I think the key is too high for me, I tried using forseto for the higher notes. It needs a good singer.
like JBP, or I could try practising as you said to get the higher notes. If I play ithe song in a different key, it wouldn't sound the same.

thanx for input

Cool song. Good quality. Great guitar playing.

Yea those high notes are a bit off on the vox, but practice will fix that. It sounds like you're fully capable.

I agree about not changing the key. That can sometimes change the feel of a song entirely.

But great first try.

Nice arrangement--the lyrics are cute.  Well played, as always.
I don't know if you were -that- off on the highs.

You said you tried forseto--did you mean falsetto or is forseto another singing technique that I am completely unaware of?

Good one Dennis!!Try this, instead of changing keys, tune the guitar half a step down. So E to Eb and so on.Lots of musicians have had to do that as they mature others have done it right from the start. It seems to accommodate the vocals better with out sacrificing the tonality and mood feel!!
