Bless You

I'm having nightmares with a new sound card I purchased, the one that came with the computer is currently better quality?? I've spent a couple of weeks trying to fathom out why it's not working the way it should, it's quite trebly and clips and pops like you wouldn't believr.
Anyway I've recorded this on my old soundcard, I sneezed big time whilst recording the guitar rhythm and miraculasly didn't make any mistakes with the rhythm at least at that moment in time.

Well Now...
you are right.. the guitar part is almost flawless..
the sneeze was the only really bad thing about
it.. I honestly think personal opinion, is that you
need a sound hole pickup for your acoustic..
lace, d'armond, dean markley, even an older
bill lawrence.. similar to the one the eagles
used. here's a pic of a Lace $29 on ebay and
anywhere up to $70 anywhere else.. and a
bill lawrence I've had since my teens.. $45
new when I got it..  last night I saw one go
on ebay for $28 and $15 shipping I think...
don't remember right off.. but now I have
seen them go for up to $100.. and the real
old D'Armonds for arch-top jazz body guitars
go up into the $200 range.. those aren't even
made anymore neither is the bill lawrences...
but here's a pic of the B.L. and the Lace..

hope this helps some.. would eliminate the
background noise problems when cutting
acoustic tracks..

blessings,

Incredible opening--I loved the beautiful tone of your chord progression and lead.  The lead is sweet as hell--sing to this man!  The repeating melody for the first half 1:00 onwards was awesome.  The break on 2:00ish was SO Eric Clapton.  That's exactly what he would have done.  Which is great.

You've got brilliant talent and fantastic songwriting skills, bravo.

I want to hear some singing on this.

The sneeze was incredible :P

That sneeze cracked me up! Recording quality sounds fine to me, but then again, i'm not very experienced. Good guitar work, and the bass and drums sound nice in it.

Great quality of sound in this recording.  Very beautiful and melodic guitar with nice tamborine (?) touches in the back.  I agree with Avi, it does have a bit of an Eric Clapton feel at times, and I just LOOOOVE Clapton! You really should rerecord without the sneeze and add some vox. Great piece of music.

wow, this is beautiful. its so crisp (apart from the sneeze lol). i love the tone, and its just nice to hear something thats as flawless as this. im still lovin the sound you get from your guitar. unfortunatly, i dont have the funds to get the equipment required for that kind of quility.
I was however thinking of purchasing a new sound card myself (my motherboard soundcard is on the brink, another story). what sound card did you buy?

Quality sounds fine as it is.
Sneezing is part of a problem when recording. It was me who was recording, I would of started all over again.
I suppose you could drown the sneeze out with some crash cymabls hahaha :p.
Playing is smooooth.

Lovely stuff.
Well composed, well played, well sneezed (lol).
Can't really add anything that others haven't said.

I'm impressed with the recording quality too.
Nice stuff Denis.
