It’s in the battle 2007-06

Okay, there's a little bit of a story behind this...
I wrote this song for my girlfriend, an exchange student from Germany. She's returning home in around three weeks, and it's going to be another year until I see her again.
Enjoy.

Heart felt strings, boy it's going to be an emotional explosion when you meet in a years time, can't wait to see what you create then.

ah, I've had some german exchange students. The last one we had now works in australia. (but I was like 10 when she was here)

As for the song...it lacks rhthm, but the chords are nice enough.

Yeah...as with most guitarists, I can't sing worth a damn.
Who knows, maybe I'll write some lyrics and attempt to sing them in the near future.

I think you've got some sections which when put together will come together as a fine song .
Maybe this is where you're at right here right now and the song will evolve organically .
good luck and I hope you 2 meet again

hey man I too have had my
share of chicks I attempted
to write a song for the most
recent being Alison man when
she broke up with me life
sucked but we still casually
flirted with me but I got over
her and she then got into some
bad stuff so thus my song
"let her go"
it was only a couple of weeks
but we got her on the write path
I can help you write the lyrics
for this if u want!!

Great work love the begining very weird but great I like the over all song it has great quailtys.  The recording could use a little work but we can all use a little work.

Thanks, but I've already started writing some. It's the actual singing part I'm worried about. But even then, I can do some post-processing on them to make it bearable
As far as the recording quality goes, my current mic is actually just the stereo mic on my video camera being run through a analog to digital converter box. The quality isn't great, but it's in stereo. I've been hired to play at several weddings in the upcoming year, so I'll probably be purchasing a dedicated guitar mic.
Thanks for all the positive feedback!

its very retro and classic sounding which is a nice spin on todays usual acoustic work. Its nice to be inovative and relive some old styles. The mullet of course is exempt from this statement
